The R.G. Smith Company has been serving as a leader in the construction industry since 1916.  Being both a contractor and engineer, we are able to serve all of your needs.  R.G. Smith Company has three major divisions and offers three locations in Canton, Mansfield and Dover.  The R.G. Smith Company would like the opportunity to support all of your construction needs in any way we can. The Industrial Division has been servicing the maintenance needs of  the largest companies in northeast Ohio for 92 years.

 

Our commitment to customer satisfaction and our ability to comply with the most stringent safety policies has made us one of the foremost industrial maintenance companies in the area.  We have the capability to meet all your maintenance and repair needs, including machinery moving, machinery repair, concrete and industrial ductwork.  We also have our own in house custom fabrication shop that lets us meet schedules others find to be impossible. The Steel Division is a critical part of our Industrial Construction Division.  Steel erection of Conventional and Pre-Engineered buildings is just part of what we do.

R.G. Smith Company offers the design build capability from concept to completion, or just the erection of your project.  We are also an authorized Nucor Dealer with over 1 million dollars in sales last year. R.G. Smith is equipped to do the small repairs as well as the large industrial expansions.  With the schedule driven projects of today,  our customers need to know that their construction needs will be met in a timely and professional manner.  The R.G.
