Celebrating the Use of Stainless Steel

Today, we’re accustomed to seeing stainless steel.  Structures, silverware, jewelry and other common items use stainless steel as their primary material because of its versatility and usefulness.  For RGS Contractors, our projects are a lot smaller of a scale then some of the iconic stainless steel structures we’ve seen across the world, but still, the material has served us well. Conveying systems, tanks and erected steel have all become a major area of success for our company.

It’s been 100 years since stainless steel was introduced.  From here in Ohio and across the world, steel has transformed cultures and cities into iconic images like the bean in Chicago, the St. Louis Arch and the Empire State Building in NYC. 2013 is the stainless steel centenary anniversary.  You can check out some of our projects by visiting the rest of the site, and here’s a look at some of the most iconic stainless steel structures across the world.
